Day 2 Fleurieu Peninsula to Kangaroo Island (50 mins + 40 mins ferry) Take a scenic drive to Cape Jervis and board the morning SeaLink vehicle and passenger ferry to Kangaroo Island. Seven times the size of Singapore, beautiful Kangaroo Island is a microcosm of different landscapes and environments with stunning beaches, amazing native wildlife in the wild, desert dunes and farmland. So it’s no wonder that it’s one of Australia’s National Landscapes. Highlights include the picturesque Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, and walking among sea lions at Seal Bay. Overnight: Kangaroo Island. |
Day 3 Kangaroo Island to Adelaide (40 mins ferry + 1.5 hr) Besides nature and wildlife, take time to discover the food and wine experiences on Kangaroo Island – honey from pure strain Ligurian bees, regional cheeses and yoghurts, native jams, fresh oysters, prawns, crayfish, whiting, snapper and marron. Take an evening ferry back to Cape Jervis and head to Adelaide via Highway B23 and M2. |
Day 4 Adelaide & Glenelg Spend time exploring the city and its popular seaside town of Glenelg. Shop at Adelaide Central Market and Rundle Mall, take a behind-the-scenes tour at Haigh’s Chocolates Visitors Centre or swim with wild dolphins in Glenelg. |
